Allan L. Klimson, age 75, of Manteno passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022 at his home. He was born November 17, 1946 in Chicago, the son of Alphonse B. & Anna M. (Hall) Klimson. He married Margaret Migas on January 10, 1966 in Iowa. Allan started his railroad career in the late 1960’s with Chicago Western Indiana Union Pacific. He retired from Metra Metropolitan Rail in 2007. Allan enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and restoring old cars. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Margaret Klimson of Manteno; four daughters, Alisa & Rob Sepe of Monee, Christine Malone of Bradley, Jennifer & Alonzo Munoz of Bourbonnais, and Marie Andersen & Jin Heu of Morton Grove; nine grandchildren, Robbie Sepe, Ryan Sepe, Brianna Malone, August Munoz, Alonzo “Trey” Munoz III, Scott Andersen Jr. Maia Heu, Jade Heu, and Samantha Cunningham; and three great-grandchildren, Braelyn Cunningham, Brooklyn Cunningham, and Maverick Cunningham. Cremation rites have been accorded. No public services will be held. Arrangements by Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Manteno.
