Benjamin Villagomez passed away at birth, safe in the arms of Jesus, on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee. Benjamin is survived by his parents, Carlos Villagomez and Elyssa Macias of Kankakee; one brother, Carlos Villagomez Jr. of Kankakee; two sisters, Lillianna Villagomez and Vivianna Villagomez, both of Kankakee; maternal grandparents, Samuel & Sherry Macias of Kankakee; paternal grandparents, Carlos Villagomez Lemus & Evangelina Guerrero Zavala of Mexico; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kankakee. Rev. John Peeters will celebrate the Mass. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Memorials may be made to the family wishes. Arrangements by Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais.
