Donald "Don" Prussner

Donald W. “Don” Prussner, age 73, of Dwight, formerly of Reddick, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee. He was born July 5, 1948 in Kankakee, the son of Raymond A. & Bernice T. (Pfeiffer) Prussner. Don was a farmer and dairyman. He was a member of the Holstein-Friesian Association of America, now known as the Holstein Association USA. Don was a member of the Reddick United Methodist Church. Surviving are one sister, Ruth Hendricks-Crosson of Joliet; one brother, Kenneth Prussner of Herndon, Virginia; one sister-in-law, Tangeet Prussner of Herndon Virginia; and four nephews and nieces and their families. Don is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Anna Marie Prussner and Lillie Mae Young; and three brothers-in-law, Richard Young, Paul Crosson and Pete Hendricks. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Grand Prairie Cemetery in Bonfield. Pastor John Vocu will officiate the service. Memorials may be made to Holstein Association USA.
