Patricia A. Cermak, age 71, of Bourbonnais, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022 in Kankakee. She was born November 19, 1950 in Chicago, the daughter of Glenn Ray & Lucy Edna Boyd Nichols. Patricia married Thomas Cermak on November 20, 1970 in Markham. She ran her own housekeeping business. Patricia enjoyed crafting and sewing. Surviving are her husband, Thomas Cermak of Bourbonnais; two sons, Thomas Michael (Michelle) Cermak of Channahon and Tracy (Kimberly) Cermak of Manhattan; one brother, Glenn Nichols of Glen Ellyn; and nine grandchildren, Noel, Jackie, Nikao, Dominick, Isabella, Nathan, Brittany (Dylan), and Bradley. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Glenda; one brother, Michael; and one grandson, Joey. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the 6:00 p.m. funeral service on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Memorials may be made for American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
