Ryan M. Denault

Visitation for Ryan M. Denault, 42, of Herscher, will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home, west Kankakee. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at College Church of the Nazarene, North Campus. Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Herscher. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for his children's education. He passed away Monday (Oct. 28, 2013) at his place of business. Mr. Denault was the owner/operator of A Fence by Denault. He was born April 7, 1971, in Kankakee, the son of Francis and Donna Feller Denault. He was a loving husband and wonderful provider. He was always up for anything his wife wanted to do, always ready for their next adventure, whether it was going zip lining through the rain forest of Costa Rica, to snorkeling in Cancun. He loved his wife and family more than anything. He was a great dad and a great husband. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially watching football on TV with his sons, and shared in their enthusiasm for the game. Ryan was always up for a game of catch or giving his boys tips on football and baseball. He loved attending his children's sports and activities. He enjoyed boating and camping. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Surviving are his wife, the former Cindy Jennings, of Herscher, whom he married June 5, 1999, in Herscher; four sons, Max Denault, Ben Denault, Sam Denault and Jack Denault, all at home; two daughters, Emily Hammond and Allie Denault, both at home; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sheri and Daryl Provost, of Manteno, Brenda and Steve Ramsey, of Woodridge; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Francis Denault, of Joliet, and Kevin and Sherri Denault, of Huber Heights, Ohio; mother-in-law, Norma Bell, of Herscher; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Lisa and Jim Corneal, of Herscher, Debbie (Jose Ramirez) Dodds, of Bonfield, Patt and Harry Scheller, of Pawnee, Trina Jennings, of Fort Smith, Ark., Diana and Ernie Morales, of Lovington, N.M., and Donna Jennings, of Alabama; special friends, Joan and Vern Campe; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Edward Bell.
