Amy Provost -- BourbonnaisAmy Sue Provost, 33, of Bourbonnais, passed on to another life Saturday (Dec. 23, 2006). She was a doting mother to her children, Toryn, Colton and Emerson. They were the light of her life. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Preston. She was not only a sister, but best friend to her sister, Dana. She was the beloved daughter of Ray and Nancy Hubert, and loving stepdaughter and stepsister to Regina Hubert and Rachel and Cory Rattin. She was an adoring aunt to her many nieces and nephews and a treasured friend to many others.Amy was a speech therapist for Robert Frost Elementary School in Bourbonnais. She also volunteered her time to the Y-ME Breast Cancer Organization in honor of her sister. She was most proud of her three children. She devoted her heart and soul to her family and friends. She brightened everyone's lives in the short time she was on this earth. She will be deeply missed, but will live on in our hearts forever.Surviving are her husband, Preston, whom she married June 26, 1999, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Kankakee; two daughters, Toryn, 5, and Emerson, 6 months old; one son, Colton, 3; her mother, Nancy Hubert of St. Anne; her father and stepmother, Ray and Regina Hubert of St. Anne; her sister and brother-in-law, Dana and Dave Dickson of Grant Park; her stepsister and stepbrother, Rachel and Cory Rattin of St. Anne; her mother-in-law, Judith Provost of Bourbonnais; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Clayton and Leanne Provost of St. Anne, Haven and Anna Provost of Bradley, Ramsey and Angela Provost of Bourbonnais; her grandmothers, Theodora Hubert of St. Anne and Audrey Gull of Chebanse; and grandfather-in-law, Donald Provost of Grant Park. She was an aunt to Jacob and Madelyn Dickson, Will, Wesley, Faith, Chase, Christian, Lily, Landon and Brynn Provost.She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Donald Hubert, Donald Blanchette, and Robert Gull; father-in-law, Wesley Provost; and grandmother-in-law, Violet Provost.Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Clancy-Gernon-Houk Funeral Home in St. Anne. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Maternity BVM Catholic Church, Bourbonnais, where she was a member.Burial will be in St. Anne Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made for the education of her children.
