Dolores Y. Fitch

Visitation for Dolores Y. Fitch, 80, of Herscher, will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home, Bourbonnais, and from 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Herscher, until the 10 a.m. celebration of the funeral Mass. Father Doug Hauber will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Goodrich. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church or for Masses. She passed away Sunday (Nov. 24, 2013) at Presence St. Mary's Hospital, Kankakee. Mrs. Fitch was retired from Security Lumber in Bradley. She was born Oct. 10, 1933, in Herscher, the daughter of Alfred and Rosalie Morin Denault. Her first husband, James Riley, whom she married Dec. 29, 1951, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Kankakee, preceded her in death April 22, 1977. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, and past president of the Legion of Mary. She enjoyed quilting, baking and sewing. Surviving are her husband, Richard Fitch, of Herscher, whom she married March 14, 1987, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Herscher; sons and daughters-in-law, Rick (JoEllen) Riley, of Bradley, Ron (Beth) Riley, of California, Gary (Jenny) Riley, of Gardner, Dan (Stella Ford) Fitch, of Wisconsin, and Mike (Lee Bonawitz) Fitch, of New York; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy (Ronnie) Gagnon, of Kankakee, Rhonda (Joseph) Berns, of Herscher, Kathy (Rodney) Meli, and Amy (Jay Galligan) Fritz, both of Kankakee, and Nancy (Harold) Welcher, of New York; sister, Geraldine Tobenski, of Kankakee; brothers and sisters-in-law, Emile (Betty) Denault, of Bradley, Jerome (Kitch) Denault, of Bourbonnais, Vernon (Darliene) Denault, of Bradley, and Maynard (Barb) Denault, of Kankakee; sisters-in-law, Norma Denault, of Tennessee, Bernadette Denault, of Kankakee, Ina Rathman, of Herscher; 26 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Willard, Raymond and Donald Denault; sister, JoAnn Denault; brothers-in-law, Floyd Tobenski and Ralph Rathman; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dale and Bernice Pool, Dauntless and Genevieve Gruber, Curtis and Hilda Riley; and grandson, Ryan Gagnon.
