Nicole Randolph

Visitation for Nicole E. "Nicki" Fitz Randolph, 31, of Cabery, will be from 5 p.m. Thursday until the 7 p.m. funeral service at the Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home, west Kankakee. The Rev. Kene Whybrew will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded by the Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Crematory. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family. She passed away June 10, 2011, of a pulmonary embolism, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee. Ms. Randolph was born Sept. 23, 1979, in Kankakee, the daughter of Richard C. Fitz Sr. and Janice Buchanan Randolph. She graduated from high school in Gilman in 1997. She received an associate degree from Kankakee Community College, majoring in criminal justice. She attended Western Illinois University, majoring in child psychology. She was an honors student throughout her schooling, in the National Honor Society and on the dean's list. She enjoyed her times with her sister, Jenny, mom and dad, her husky, Sunny, and her pet cats. She also enjoyed playing euchre at the Chatterbox, physical therapy with Caroline, and her special nieces and nephews, Harlene, Hunter, Haven and Gloria. She was also close with her sisters, Debi and Eliz. Surviving are her parents, of Cabery; five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Debra and James Schacht, Jennifer L. Fitz Randolph, Elizabeth Anne and Manuel Morocho-Randolph, Tamara R. Fitz Randolph, and Toni and Jim Busler; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard C. Jr. and Heather Fitz Randolph, and Robert and Tammy Hannah; nieces, Harlene and Haven Schacht, Glori Morocho-Randolph, Chandler and Gabriella Randolph, Lauren Hannah, Madison Busler; nephews, Hunter Schacht, Robert Hannah Jr., Joseph Hannah and Doug Jones Jr.; one uncle, Jeffrey; special aunts, Louella Baugh and Mary Maron; other aunts, Eva, Nadine and Jane; one special uncle-in-law, Sam Guzzo Sr.; 54 first cousins; and very special friends, Judy Bollatto and Marlene Huizenga. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Thelma and Willard Buchanan, Erma and Orville F. Fitz Randolph I; six aunts and five uncles; her adopted grandma, Roberta Coy; and adopted grandpa, Guy Zarring.
