Norma Goudreau

Visitation for Norma B. Goudreau, 75, of Bradley, will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home, Bourbonnais.Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery Chapel, Kankakee. Deacon Patrick Skelly will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family wishes. She died Wednesday (April 15, 2009) at Riverside Medical Center.Mrs. Goudreau had worked at the information booth at Northfield Square mall. Prior to this, she was a lunch lady at the Kankakee school district, while her children attended school. She also had worked at Bear Brand and was a waitress at Lil and Stan's Cafe. She was born May 4, 1933, in Kankakee, the daughter of Otto and Vera Correll Coffman. Norma enjoyed working in her yard, walking, cooking and decorating her home. She liked spending time with her family, watching the Chicago White Sox and doing crossword puzzles.Surviving are her husband, Jim Goudreau, whom she married May 5, 1951, in Fort Knox, Ky.; one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Joni Goudreau of Bourbonnais; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marla and Jerry Kuntz of Bourbonnais, Rhonda and Tom Finefield of St. Augustine, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Christopher and Melanie Finefield of St. Augustine, Brad Kuntz and Tiffany Blanchette of Kankakee, James and Nicole Goudreau of Bradley, Jill and Marc Naese of Kankakee, Jacob Finefield of Raleigh, N.C., Matt Finefield of St. Augustine, Justin Goudreau of Bourbonnais, Jennifer Goudreau of Bourbonnais; five great-grandchildren, Grant Naese, Delaney Kuntz, Aubrie Goudreau, Alexia Finefield, Rylee Finefield; one sister, Mary Green of Manteno; one brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Barb Coffman of Bradley; one brother-in-law, Wayne Havener of Limestone; one sister-in-law, Ivy Coffman of Kankakee; and several nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by six sisters and five brothers-in-law, Josephine and Donald Reimus, Lois and Freeman Inman, Beatrice and Jim Grant, Lula and Raynee LaGesse, Margie and Art Prouty, Mildred Havener; three brothers, Sam Coffman, John Coffman and George Coffman; and one brother-in-law, Tom Green.
