Patricia I. Perreault

Patricia I. Perreault, age 88, of Kankakee, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023. She was born November 8, 1934 in Kankakee, the daughter of Ralph & Rosella Mercier Marcotte. Patricia married Ambrose A. Perreault on July 23, 1955 at Maternity B.V.M. Catholic Church in Bourbonnais. Ambrose preceded Patricia in death on September 6, 2012. Patricia was a graduate of St. Joseph Seminary. Pat helped her husband in the operation of the family farm. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and reading. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with friends and family - especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Bret & Margaret Perreault of Kankakee; two daughters and one son-in-law, Brenda Jensen of Clifton and Linda & Randy Elliot of Chebanse; one sister-in-law, Esther Marcotte of Bonfield; eight grandchildren, Beth (Gil) Espinoza, Nichole (Steven) Appling, Brandon (Jennifer) Jensen, Sean (Shandi) Elliot, Karie (Tom) Prokop, Cheryl (Charlie) Warman, Matt (Ashley) Perreault, and Paige (Danny Ray) Crowley; and sixteen great-grandchildren, Olivia Espinoza, Vanessa Espinoza, Alex Espinoza, Harrison Appling, Parker Jensen, Ainsley Jensen, William “Liam” Elliot, Logan Elliot, Levi Elliot, Karalyn Prokop, Benjamin Prokop, Corinne Warman, Hunter Warman, Otto Perreault, Olli Perreault, and Tinley Crowley. In addition to her husband, Ambrose A. Perreault, Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph & Rosella Marcotte; five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Kenneth Marcotte, Roland & Eleanor Marcotte, Eucharist “Mush” & Yvonne Marcotte, Ralph “Red” & Mary Marcotte, and infant brother, Jerry Marcotte; three sisters and three brothers-in-law, Phoebe & James Ealy, Henrietta & Francis “Foo” Chamness, and Rose & Harold Longtin; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Irene & Benoit Perreault; two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Theresa & Ralph St. Pierre and Verneal & Ambrose Blanchette; and one son-in-law, Rod Jensen. Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home in Kankakee. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 27, 2023 at St. James Catholic Church in Irwin. Cremation rites will be accorded following the funeral Mass. Private family inurnment will be held at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Irwin. Memorials may be made to Uplifted Care or St. James Catholic Church.
