Vera Lynn Clark

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Vera Lynn Clark, who left this world on May 20, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on August 30, 1960, Vera lived a life as vibrant and unique as the soul she was. A woman of immense kindness, generosity, and quiet strength, Vera was someone who made people feel seen, heard, and cared for—especially those who needed it most. She had a tender heart for the misfortunate and was always willing to offer her time, her energy, or simply her presence to anyone in need. Vera’s spirit glided through life like she did across the floors of roller rinks—gracefully, passionately, and with unmistakable flair. Known lovingly as the "Queen of the Roller Rink," she spent countless joyful hours skating with friends, always turning heads and lighting up the room. Her love for roller skating was just one of many facets of her colorful personality. She also adored unique treasures, craft shows, classic cars, and the rumble of motorcycles—finding beauty and meaning in things that told a story. She is survived by her beloved son, Zack Mitchell, who was the joy and pride of her life. She also leaves behind her anchor in life and beyond, Tammy Zebrauskas, whose soul bond was a testament to true, unwavering friendship and chosen family of 33 years. Vera’s nurturing heart extended to her nieces, Marissa and Sydney Clark, Christina and Jacob Stevens, and their children, Oren, Ronen "Ro Ro", and Aalie, all of whom brought her immense pride and happiness. She held a special place in her heart for each of them, loving them deeply as her own. Vera is also lovingly remembered by Kenneth Mitchell and life-long friend of 56 years, Kathy Meyer. Vera is now reunited with her mother and father, Lola and William Clark, her brother William Clark, and her cherished dogs, Aiden, Izzie, and Biz, who were family to her and brought endless companionship and joy. Vera Lynn Clark’s life was a beautiful testament to authenticity, compassion, and resilience. Her memory will live on in the warmth of her son’s heart, in laughter shared with friends, and the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed, always remembered, and forever celebrated.
