Victor D. “Vic” Konik, age 68, of Bradley passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022 at his home. He was born February 5, 1954 in England, the son of Jozef & Kazamera (Taujanius) Konik. Vic was an operator at BASF for over 30 years. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, and watching Family Feud. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He loved his grandkids. Surviving are two sons, Aaron & Danielle Konik of Bourbonnais and Mitchel Konik of Bradley; one daughter, Victoria Konik of Bourbonnais; three grandchildren, Ajae Konik, Kaz Konik, and Shiloh Konik; and numerous nieces and nephews. Vic is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Alexander Konik; and two brothers, Kris Konik and Ed Konik. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of the 7 p.m. wake service on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service. Private family inurnment will be held at All Saints Cemetery in Bourbonnais. Memorials may be made to the family wishes.
